Roots Found in Upcycling
Ro finds its roots in Reimagine Furniture, which opened in 2010 in a small basement on Elmwood Avenue, was an exciting vintage shop. They would go to estate sales on the weekends to purchase unique vintage pieces, repaint and upholster them, and give them new life. The brand was resourceful and enjoyed saving beautifully designed pieces for people to use in their homes. Reimagine relocated in 2011 to 732 Elmwood Avenue, which paved the way for the brand to evolve in tandem with their new space. Ró was founded in 2012 with a new emphasis on the concept of peaceful living through functional design with a minimalist aesthetic. They brought in items sourced from innovative design firms, as well as custom-designed Furniture made by local craftsmen, in addition, to select curated vintage pieces. Ró is indeed a source for delightfully designed, one-of-a-kind furniture, housewares, and art to allow you to create a safe haven in your own home.
